France
Last stop: Cassis
Last stop on our France roadtrip: the town of Cassis! Today, we'll check-in at another luxury hotel and will spend the day and evening in the cute and alive streets of this pretty city.

Check-in at Les Roches Blanches Cassis
Time for the last hotel on our France trip, so let's make it a good one ;-) We chose for what's definitely the best location of Cassis: Les Roches Blanches. Literally located on rocks, right next to the sea, the views here are to die for. I found this hotel great on the outside, yet on the inside it was more a bit less stylish in my opinion. Not rustic, but all modern. Might be perfect to some people, of course! In each case: the pools and views are postcard-material. Spend some time at the pool here, followed by a lunch on one of their restaurants. The food was really nice!
After a 10 minute walk from the hotel, you'll reach the cosy town of Cassis

Explore Cassis
Next up: exploring Cassis by hopping from one terrace to another (they have so many!) and by just walking around in the streets. No specific recommendations here, just a really nice place to be. For me, Cassis is very underrated compared to Nice etc. This place has everything you can expect from a nice Southern French village.

Dinner at the harbour: Le Grand Bleu
Time for fresh fish! In the Cassis harbour there are plenty of options, but we looked it all up on TripAdvisor and Foursquare and found Le Grand Bleu had the best reviews. And.. we can confirm! Le Grand Bleu is not so Grand, yet perfectly petite ;-). Nice terrace (right next to the boats), great salmon and the sun will set right into your face. Bon appétit!

Cosy market on Place Baragnon
To process the great food at Le Grand Bleu, we decided to walk around a bit again, and ended up at a local market at Place Baragnon. Expect handmade jewelry, soap and clothing in a picturesque setting. Nice one to end the day!
