Picture this: you, sailing through the early morning mist, headed towards the iconic James Bond Island in Phang Nga Bay. As the sun begins to rise in the pink and gold sky, you'll already feel that you made the right choice by waking up so early. Yes, the 5 AM pickup time was difficult for us, too, but once we sat foot on the boat we'd already forgotten about that. ;-)
The first stop of the day is a cool one: exploring hidden caves on Koh Panak. Once you make it through the cave, you will be treated to an amazing mangrove forest, surrounded by majestic limestone formations. A perfect start, although the next stop is even better. You guessed it, James Bond Island!
This is the moment you'll know that waking up early was the best decision ever. We're not exaggerating, but we had the whole beach and water to ourselves for more than an hour. Absolutely breathtaking, you better believe we had a whole photoshoot here! When it was time to leave, we noticed that there were at least 5 times more people on the island.
After our visit to James Bond Island, we continued with a stop at a magnificent viewpoint called Samet Nangshe. Here we had the best view of Phang Nga bay, amazing seeing all these islands from afar. Next up, a visit to the floating Panyee Island where we also had lunch. This is also the time to buy some souvenirs!
Our last stop before heading back to Phuket was a beautiful white beach with a cool beach bar. Best day ever!
