As the saying goes: when in El Nido, go on an island hopping tour. Here’s our perfect itinerary for Tour A to ensure you get the most out of your day and avoid the crowds.
Start your adventure at Big Lagoon, where kayaking through the crystal-clear blue water surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs feels like navigating through a postcard. If you want, hop in the water and take a leisurely swim!
Next, head to Secret Lagoon, our favorite part of the tour. High tide makes entering the lagoon an exciting freedive, when we were there we had the whole place to ourselves. At low tide, you can easily swim through a small opening, but the thrill of freediving made it such a unique experience for us. Inside, the lagoon feels like a hidden oasis with its natural pool and limestone walls.
After exploring the Secret Lagoon, we moved on to Shimizu Island for some snorkeling where we saw starfish and numerous clownfish. A nice intermezzo! Following this snorkeling session, we recommend having lunch on a beach nearby. Our guide took us to a very small and secluded beach, where they prepared our food.
We ended our tour at 7 Commandos Beach, a stunning location with soft white sand, turquoise water, and rows of swaying palm trees. Make sure to arrive just before noon! This is perfect as the beach will be empty with everyone else heading off for lunch. When we were there, we had tons of time to swim, sunbathe, and soak in the beautiful surroundings. Talk about a private beach feeling!
