Wales is easily accesible by train. Thetrainline is an excellent platform to buy your train tickets on. Do this quite some time on beforehand, since prices can fluctuate. This was our schedule: - Brussels South > train to London - London St. Pancras Station > train to Crewe - Crewe > train to Llandudno Junction - Llandudno Junction > bus to Blaenau Ffestiniog From Blaenau on, we got to Maentwrog where our first accomodation was. Hike from Maentwrog to Beddgelert
This first etappe of about 20 kilometers will lead you from Maentwrog to Beddgelert. The route immediately starts with some ascending through a forest road. You will walk through the forests around Maentwrog but soon enough the landscape opens up before you and the hills and sheep will welcome you. Make sure to keep your booklet and map close at all times, because paths are not always indicated.
