Hamilton Gardens is a botanical paradise in the heart of Hamilton, New Zealand (1,5 hour drive from Auckland). It’s an award-winning garden that showcases a diverse range of landscapes and themed gardens, each offering a unique experience 💐.
One of the highlights of Hamilton Gardens is its themed gardens, which take inspiration from different cultures, historical periods, and gardening styles. From the tranquil serenity of the Japanese Garden to the vibrant colors of the Indian Char Bagh Garden, each themed area invites visitors on a journey through time and space. Our personal favorites were the Italian Renaissance Garden, Indian Char Bagh Garden, and Ancient Egyptian Garden 🪷. It took us about 2,5 hours to see all of them, including a lunch with a view ⛲️.
In addition to its themed gardens, Hamilton Gardens boasts a variety of other attractions, including the picturesque Rhododendron Lawn, the majestic Turtle Lake, and the whimsical Tudor Garden.
