The architecture in Berlin really amazed me. There's such a mix, from historic buildings to modern masterpieces.
Taking a walk from the Brandenburg Gate to the White Crosses monument at sunset lets you see a lot of different styles.
The area around the tWhite Crosses monument is so clean and well-kept, quite different from the "Mitte" district in my opinion. The bridges and glass buildings reflect the evening light beautifully. In the evening, people gather there to dance together spontaneously. It's a really great atmosphere!
And don't miss the Brandenburg Gate itself—it's a famous neoclassical city gate you've got to see, especially as the sun starts to go down.
