Vila Nova de Milfontes
Our fourth day, making our way over to Vila Nova de Milfontes. Right next to the coastline of Portugal, known to be a great surf spot and it was frankly one of my favorite destinations of this trip!
Checking-in at Duna Parque Beach Club
From Évora, it took us about 2 hours to get to Vila Nova de Milfontes. The hotel was quite retro but definitely had its charm and had gorgeous views from the rooftop terrace. We immediately changed into our swimming gear and made our way over to the beach to cool down. ☀️ This side of Vila Nova de Milfontes had some intense waves and I cannot imagine people surfing here, so to participate in water activities I would recommend heading to the other side of the city. Since the waves were so wild, we decided to spend the rest of our afternoon relaxing by the pool and enjoying the hotel's yummyyyy cocktails. 😎
Dinner at Manjedoura
Another place where our dinner was amazing! Manjedoura is a gorgeous restaurant in the centre of Vila Nova de Milfontes, great atmosphere, great interior, great service and delicious dishes. All of us were blown away by the quality of the food and the way it was prepared and served. I had a fresh tuna steak and the flavours were perfect. A must visit if you're visiting Vila Nova de Milfontes!
An evening city- and beach walk
After our delicious dinner we decided to go for a walk through the city of Vila Nova de Milfontes. A very small city, but it's definitely worth exploring since there's beautiful local architecture and a vibrant city centre square. Besides this there's also a walkway next to the ocean with gorgeous sunset views which took us right back to our hotel.
