Crossing Småland and picking wild blueberries

On our 3rd day of this relaxing road trip through nature, we visit our second national park in Sweden: Nora Kvills National Park. There is a nice hike and tons of wild blueberries to pick.

Wild blueberry picking at Norra Kvills NP

We followed the blue and red signs to first take the larger loop and ending at with a stroll around the lower lake. Here the shores are packed with wild blueberry bushes. It’s common in Sweden to bring a basket to the national parks during summer and start picking blueberries in the wild.

Unknown boondocking spot between Vättern & Vänern

Every van tripper knows that little stressy feeling of finding a nice place to sleep before the sun will set. While we were roadtripping through Central-Sweden, we ended up somewhere between the great lakes of Vättern & Vänern. No good spot available on the apps and time running out. Until we spotted a little remote lake that wasn't visible on Google Maps, only in satellite mode. We rushed over there, searched for a little dirt road towards the lake and stumbled upon this peaceful little camp spot. Check the website button for the exact location on Google Maps.
