If you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Vegas, make sure to visit the Neon Museum. This museum showcases a captivating collection of iconic neon signs that once illuminated the city's lively streets, offering a glimpse into its rich history. For an extra dose of magic, we recommend visiting after sunset when the neon lights come to life, adding a touch of enchantment to the surroundings. Definitely a hidden gem if you ask us!
You have the option to explore on your own or go with a guided tour. We really recommend the guided tour for a unique experience. The guide will tell you some fun stories about the signs, where they came from and where they were used, so cool! They even make the whole thing interactive! We find that way more fun than just reading some information signs that don't give you any backstory. Oh by the way, did you know that some of the signs date back to the 30's?
If you're really interested in experiencing the best this museum has to offer, go for the "Double the Glow" experience. This comes with a "regular" guided tour, which is fun, but the second part of the activity is exclusive to "Double the Glowers". We can’t really tell a lot about this as this would ruin the surprise, but what we can say is that the lights will come to live ;-). The Neon Museum is a unique way to experience the quieter, more charming side of Las Vegas.
