Exploring teamLab Planets in Tokyo is like stepping into another world. Located on the island of Toyosu, this immersive digital art museum offers a captivating journey through stunning, interactive installations.
The adventure begins even before you step inside. Walking uphill to the first art installation is a spectacle in itself. Without giving too much away, make sure to pull up your pants and get ready to get a bit wet – an exciting hint of what’s to come. Also, this won't be the only time there's water involved!
One of our favorite experiences was the Infinite Crystal Universe. This mesmerizing installation features thousands and thousands of LEDs creating dazzling special effects in what seems like an endless room. It’s a unique and breathtaking feeling, unlike anything we’ve experienced before.
Near the end of the visit, we encountered the impressive Floating Flower Garden. This interactive installation surrounds you with an array of flowers that move with you. It's beautifully executed and we really liked the fact that it was so interactive. This means that every visitor's experience will be different, how cool is that?
We don't want to spoil the whole surprise for you of course, so that's why we highlighted the ones that stuck with us most. The other installations were superb too, especially because they all offered something different. And one last tip: try to arrive early, it'll make everything even more amazing ;-)
