Kekova Island: Swimming above The Sunken City
Hidden along the Turkish coast, far from the crowds of popular tourist destinations, lies a secret gem: Kekova Island. Beneath the shimmering waves rests the sunken city of Simena, a fascinating archaeological treasure of Turkey. Despite its stunning location off the coast of Demre, the charming village of Üçağız has fortunately been spared from mass tourism – and that's something we love! From the picturesque village of Üçağız, we took a wooden boat with Ali as our captain. Later, we literally and figuratively dived into its rich history!
