Hike and swim in paradise!
Active day ahead: hiking in the forest (with a view!), with a refreshing swim in Lac de Vouglans as a well-deserved reward. On y va!
Sunrise at Lac de Narlay
Set your alarm for a magical sunrise at Lac de Narlay (just next to your tent :-) )! Enjoy from the rocks right next to the lake, or put on your swimsuit and go for a swim all by yourself. Holiday done right!
Take your car to La Vallée du Hérisson
Walk the Cascades du Hérisson track
Park your car at the Auberge du Hérisson restaurant (for free) and follow the signs to the Hérisson waterfalls from there. On the walk signs, you can find several routes with different difficulties. Highlight is definitely the first (bigger) waterfall, the others are rather small. In each case, this forest walk is a perfect way to kick-start your day in an active way.
Mountain lunch at L'éolienne
What better than a cheese raclette after a hike in the forest? Yes, even in summer! Head to l'Eolienne for a nice lunch (it's cosy to sit both inside and outside ).
Swimming afternoon at Lac de Vouglans
Time for another paradise lake! A more famous one, this time. Drive to Lac de Vouglans and instead of going to the main beach, go for this secret little one: https://www.google.com/maps?q=loc:46.5051528,5.6919194 After quite a steep walk down, you'll be rewarded with a small beach to yourself, where it's perfect to both sleep and swim. Perfect afternoon activity, if you ask me!
Now head back to the camping to enjoy a quiet, romantic evening.

End your day with a bottle of rosé and a "saucisson" on the edge of Lac de Narlay. It's your last night here, so enjoy the view one last time!
