Early morning at Tokyo Tower

Start your day with an iconic visit to Tokyo Tower. We suggest heading over to the parking lot in front of the tower first, so that you can capture amazing shots of this red and white tower without any crowds. This used to be a hidden gem, although most people will have heard of the “Tokyo Tower Parking Center” spot by now. Arrive before 8 AM to avoid (most of) the queues and get your perfect photo op without the crowds. Depending what time your photo-op finishes, you might visit the Tokyo Tower observatory afterwards! It opens at 9 AM and tickets start at 1200 yen.

It’s a 45 minute Tokyo subway ride to your next location!

Visit teamLab Planets

Next, make your way to teamLab Planets, an interactive art museum that will blow your mind. Be sure to secure tickets for (or around) opening time! The experience is much better when there are fewer people. We really don’t want to spoil the surprise, but what we can say is this: They combine lights, sounds, and textures to create special environments ;-)

Another 30-minute subway ride is all it takes to get to your next destination.

Explore the Roppongi district

After your mind-expanding visit to teamLab Planets, stroll around the Roppongi district. This area is known for its cultural scene, vibrant nightlife, and upscale restaurants. A very fun place to go exploring! Don’t miss the Maman spider sculpture, a giant arachnid that adds a touch of whimsy to the area.

Lunch at KINKA Sushi Bar Izakaya

If you’re craving a “fancy lunch” after exploring the vibrant Roppongi district, make sure to head to KINKA Sushi Bar Izakaya! On the menu you can find, as the name KINKA Sushi suggests, sushi. However, don't expect any kind of standard sushi, as KINKA specializes in aburi sushi. Aburi means “blowtorched”, which means that every piece of sushi will get a nice grill and arrive on your plate fresh and hot. So good!

Just a 20-minute journey on Tokyo’s subway will bring you to the last stop of the day.

End your day at Shibuya Scramble Crossing

End your day at the world-famous Shibuya Scramble Crossing. To get the best view of the organized chaos below, head to the MAGNET by SHIBUYA109 rooftop. From there, you can watch thousands of people cross the street in perfect harmony, a true testament to Tokyo's vibrant energy. The entrance for the rooftop is quite pricey at 1800 yen (€ 10), although this does include one drink.
