The Kaunertal adventure circuit is a varied hiking trail for young and old in Tyrol, Austria. The starting point is in Feichten, a small village halfway through the Kaunertal valley. At the beginning of the hike, you walk through the Verpeil gorge where, via 200 steps, a suspension bridge, and a gigantic waterfall, you arrive at the Adlerblick viewpoint. Adlerblick literally means "eagle's view". From here, you look at the valley from a bird's eye perspective, surrounded by mountain peaks of 3,000 meters and more. The viewpoint is located a whopping 100 meters above the ground. Exciting! Then follows the adventurous Knappensteig route back to the valley. Here you walk past a mining site from the 15th and 16th centuries. Along the way, you can hammer ore out of the stones yourself. Or explore a real mine tunnel with a helmet and flashlight. Adventure at its peak!
