This is our first camping spot near a lake. We wanted to split up our kilometers and make it somewhat comfortable.

Day 1
Lake Starnberg, Germany
Off we go
No one can drive 16 hours or plus straight. So we decided to make a few stops along the way. First stop: Starnberger See, Germany. It's somewhat on the way to Slovenia and Croatia and it is a stunning lake! Take a walk to the little beach area, enjoy an evening sunset or a morning walk. There is a schloss not too far from here, which we personally didn't visit. There are a few camping grounds in the area, but as it was our first night, and a long drive, we wanted to stay near the lake on a free camp area. If you do this, be sure to pin a few locations down as it is not always easy to see if allowed or not.
