I love spending a week in a city like Granada. It has the perfect mix of city life and nature, and lots of sun! Here are my top highlights from my trip in May:
• Sierra Nevada: just a short drive from the city, the landscape of Sierra Nevada is perfect for hiking. You can also ski here during the winter season ;) 🥾
• Desierto de Gorafe: also known as the "Andalusian Cappadocia" or the "Grand Canyon of Spain," this area has dramatic rock formations and insane views! Definitely a must-see during sunset! 🌅
• The Alhambra: this iconic palace complex is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, filled with Islamic architecture, beautiful gardens, and rich history. A must-visit when in Granada 🏰
• Lecrin Valley: located south of the city, this valley is known for its green landscape with orange and lemon groves, as well as olive trees 🍋
• Historic city center: stroll through Granada's historic heart, and take in the charming streets, plazas, and local shops 🍹
I took the Fujifilm X100VI with me, a very compact camera that captures the landscapes perfectly. For me, it simply adds to the atmosphere. For more information, check out the link!
