If you find yourself in Luxor, I HIGHLY recommend doing a hot airballoon ride over Valley of the Kings. Taking a hot air balloon ride over Luxor provides a unique and breathtaking perspective of the ancient landmarks and the Nile River.
We booked this experience through GetyourGuide, there are plenty of different options to choose from but on average most offer hotel pickup - return and prices range all between €80-€100 per person.
Be ready for a very early wake-up call around 3.30-4am, a small car transfer, a ferry across the Nile and another transfer to where the balloons take off. All of this is all included in the price and takes you there under 40min.
The balloon ride itself takes around 45min incl getting up and back down. But don't worry you'll have enough time to enjoy the beautiful views of Valley of the Kings!
