Lago di Sorapis is a favorite spot for hikers and photographers in the Dolomites. It's known for its bright turquoise water and surrounding mountains.
The hike starts at Passo Tre Croci, a mountain pass between Cortina d'Ampezzo and Misurina. If you follow trail number 215, you're good. It’s about 12-13 kilometers round trip with an elevation gain of about 700 meters.
The trail starts gently through the forest. After the forest, the trail gets rockier and steeper. Be careful, as some parts can be slippery. There are cables and ladders in some steep parts for safety. After about 2 hours, you’ll reach the lake. This view is insane!
