Ancient Town and Hoi An’s night market
Today's plan includes exploring Hoi An Ancient Town, visiting the Precious Heritage Art Gallery Museum, taking a lantern boat ride, and experiencing the lively atmosphere of Hoi An's night market.
Stroll through Hoi An Ancient Town
Start your day with a relaxed stroll in the Ancient Town, a UNESCO site full of stories and local charm. The yellow buildings, cute shops, and cozy cafes create a truly magical atmosphere. Don't miss the chance to explore historic houses and temples: Quan Cong Temple and Hoi Quan Phuoc Kien are must-visit gems!
Walk 15 minutes to your next destination.
Visit the Precious Heritage Art Gallery Museum
Next up: the Precious Heritage Art Gallery Museum, where you can find Réhahn's captivating Precious Heritage Collection. This was one of our favorite spots in Hoi An. Explore five unique rooms brimming with beautiful portraits, stories, and artifacts from Vietnam's diverse ethnic tribes. The fun thing about this place is that you can take it as far as you want. If you're just here for the beautiful pictures and nice atmosphere, great! If you're interested in learning more about all the different indigenous people in Vietnam, even better! You can watch a nice film about Réhahn's works, read more about specific people from different tribes, or buy souvenirs!
Your next destination is a half-hour walk or 10-minute bike ride away.
Take a lantern boat ride on the Hoai River
Experience the magic of a lantern-lit boat ride along the serene Hoai River, a must-do activity in Hoi An. Cruise under the starlit sky, surrounded by the glow of hundreds of lanterns. This is the place to be for a romantic journey through Hoi An Old Town, gentle lights and a lot of fun everywhere. We loved our boat ride on the Hoai River!
End your day at Hoi An's Night Market
End your day with a visit to Hoi An's bustling Night Market, right next to the Hoai River. Explore a maze of stalls offering an array of handicrafts, souvenirs, and delicious street food. We suggest you walk around here for a bit to check out all the food stalls before ordering. The food options here are just endless! It is also the place to do some souvenir shopping and see artists perform on the streets.
