After arriving at Father's Guesthouse in Cameron Highlands around midday, I immediately went hiking in the mountains. I went for Trail number 8 and 9 by myself and they went great! On my way I passed the Robinson Waterfall and a breathtaking viewpoint. It was a bit scary to be hiking by myself, but it ended up being a great experience.
The following day, I joined a guided tour organized by the hostel. A van picked up our group for a full-day adventure, visiting the region's highlights:
• We started at the Tea Plantations, where we could get a taste of the freshly brewed tea—an absolute must in Cameron Highlands.
• Plucked strawberries on a strawberry farm and got a strawberry milkshake afterwards.
• Learned about the fascinating world of bees and tasting pure, local honey at a bee & honey farm.
• Saw lots of tropical butterflies flying around freely at the Butterfly Garden
• Ended the day at Rose Garden 🌹
This was the first location during my solo trip where I was truly alone, and it went incredibly smoothly!
