Start the day with a picknick at Esplanada Park.
Georgetown has lots of street food and food stalls, and what better place to sit at than in a garden surrounded by beautiful buildings, a playground and close to the waterfront.
The Esplanada Park has all of those, and has a food court right next to it, so no need to shop for groceries, you can order some delicious rice or noodles at the food court and take it to the park.
Don’t forget to bring a blanket, and prepare for a relaxed lunch in Georgetown. When we were there, we were the only ones at the spot. So it’s quite a hidden gem.
Follow the waterfront boulevard to the fort.
Walk from the fort to Leong San Tong Khoo Kongski, an old Chinese clan house which is worth a visit.
Then it’s time to visit Armenian street and all the little art streets around Georgetown.
