Exploring Grampians National Park
Next stop, and one I've been looking forward to. Nestled in the heart of Victoria, Australia, Grampians National Park stands as a testament to the breathtaking beauty of the country's natural landscapes. Spanning over 1,600 square kilometers, this national park is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a diverse range of activities and beau-ti-ful scenery. It all starts with the scenic road all the way to Halls Gap, a spectacular 65-kilometre route where you are greeted by kangaroos (omg!) , colorful birds, amazing views after every turn and lots of greenery! Soooo pretty.

Nigretta Falls
First day driving the van, heading over to the Grampians. On our way we made a stop at this beautiful nature reserve! It has a big waterfall in between the rocks and a beautiful surrounding landscape. We had lunch here as well. Couldn't sk for a better start of the road trip!

The perfect camping spot in Halls Gap
Camping at Halls Gap Lakeside Tourist Park was a delightful surprise from the moment we arrived. A warm welcome awaited us from the incredibly friendly staff, one of whom hailed from the Netherlands, adding an international touch to our experience. The excitement peaked when we discovered our campervan was stationed right next to an open field where dozens of kangaroos cale together. My jaw dropped every time I opened our van’s door: so mant kangaroos and so close as well! The backdrop looked surreal as well. Beyond the kangaroo encounters, the park itself impressed as well being perfectly maintained, having the perfect location and lots of things to do! You can even go glamping here. The decision to extend our stay was an easy one, the absolute paradise for road trippers if you ask me!
