Visit La Orotava and wine tasting at Casa Del Vino
Start the day in one of the oldest towns on the island: La Orotava. Stroll through the colorful streets and enjoy the beautiful historical architecture and gardens. Then drive to a well-known wine tasting nearby!

Visit the colorful La Orotava
The city of La Orotava, located in the north of Tenerife, is one of the oldest cities in the Canary Islands. The historic center is also one of my favorite spots on the island, just like for many others. La Orotava is one of the most beautiful cities in Tenerife, thanks to its perfectly preserved and colorful buildings, historical architecture, and beautiful gardens. Moreover, the city offers an impressive landscape with the El Teide volcano in the background.

Admire the garden of Marquesado de la Quinta Roja
Stroll through the enchanting garden of Marquesado de la Quinta Roja, better known as Jardín Victoria. This 18th-century garden with French influences stretches in terraces along the hill and offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city center. At the top of the garden stands an elegant marble mausoleum, a tribute to the Marquis of La Quinta Roja, who once owned this beautiful place. As you wander through the garden, you are treated to breathtaking views of the old town of La Orotava, where colorful houses stand out against the backdrop of the surrounding mountains. The garden is rich in diverse plants and flowers, and each terrace offers new corners to discover, from soothing fountains to shaded paths. The Jardín Victoria is a peaceful place that invites reflection and relaxation, perfect for a moment of rest after exploring the lively streets of La Orotava. Don't miss this hidden gem during your visit to Tenerife!

Lunch across the street
Across the gardens, you can choose a delicious lunch in the square. A table on the terrace with a nice sangria or a cerveza, that’s all you need, right?
Only 15 minutes drive

Wine tasting at Casa Del Vino
Book a wine tasting at the wine museum of Tenerife and discover the rich history of this special estate. Download the app to listen to an audio guide during your tour. The voice of a young girl, a member of the family that founded this winery, guides you through each room and provides extra information. She tells about how things used to be and where the differences with now lie. Start your visit in the small museum, then go to the bee room and finish in one of the vineyards. Complete your tour with a tasting of their wines, accompanied by some local Canarian specialties. Are you still hungry afterwards? Sit down at the table in the estate's restaurant, Xarko. A real recommendation!

Pizza at Casanova
Reserve a table at Pizzeria Casanova and let yourself be pampered with delicious, homemade pizzas! Hungry guests are lining up to taste the famous Casanova pizzas. In the open kitchen, crispy pizzas are lovingly prepared, and the attention to detail is visible everywhere. From the stylish interior to the design of the menus, napkins, and tables—everything fits perfectly together! Choosing the best pizza? That's tough, as the menu is full of tempting options that are all worth trying. Dining with young children? They are especially pampered! With a chef's hat on, they can knead the pizza dough with the chef, creating an unforgettable experience. The chef himself keeps close contact with his guests, regularly giving a thumbs up to the tables to check if everything is to their liking. A must-try!
