Anaga nature park and a visit to the original capital

Hiking in Anaga National Park
Just a few minutes' drive from the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the northeast of the island, you will find the breathtaking Anaga Nature Park. Covering an area of 14,500 hectares, this reserve is an important part of Tenerife. Moreover, UNESCO has recognized the nature park as a Biosphere Reserve due to the exceptional protection of its natural wealth. This park is definitely a must-visit during your stay on the island! Bring a picnic pack, enough water, and some snacks for the journey. Explore the park on foot and let yourself be enchanted by the steep, jagged mountain peaks, deep valleys, impressive rock walls, and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Are you unlucky with foggy weather? Don't worry; it usually clears up by noon. And even if the fog persists, it adds an extra touch of mystery and magic to your adventure!
Drive a small half hour from Anaga park to the village of San Cristobal de La Laguna. Park at Parking Rodriguez Moure (El Remojo), a guarded parking lot that is very cheap and within walking distance of the center!
