From Lynaes to Rosnaes Fyr
Start your day at the hilly Spodsbjerg Fyr, and later drive to a more westerly point of Zealand. Here you will end your day in a beautifully located shelter, with a great view over the sea.

Visit the hilly Spodsbjerg lighthouse
Visit Spodsbjerg lighthouse in the morning, an area with steep coastal slopes and hilly regions. You will also find the Spodsbjerg lighthouse here, not too big but certainly photogenic. Near the lighthouse, you will also find the house of polar explorer Knud Rasmussen. The house is open to visitors from Easter to week 42.
Next, you continue your road trip to the last stop in Sjaelland, namely Rosnaes Fyr, the westernmost point of Sjaelland

Watch the sunset from a beautifully located shelter
A stone's throw from the beach is Rosnaes parking lot. From a few parking spaces, you can even see the sea. In my opinion, the nicest place where we have wild camped! The parking lot was quiet, toilet is available, and it is very close to a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. For the sunset, you walk 10 minutes to the tip of Rosnaes Fyr. At the top, you will find the Rosnaes Fyr lighthouse, but if you go down the stairs to the left, you will find a small open shelter right under the lighthouse in the cliff. You are 5 meters from the sea, giving you a panoramic view. The perfect place to enjoy the sunset! You cannot reserve the shelter in advance, so it's first come, first served. In the shelter, there is space for three or four people, and it is allowed to make a fire between the stones by the coast in front of the shelter. We only used the shelter to watch the sunset and enjoy freshly brewed coffee with our Aeropress. But when you have sleeping bags with you, you can also spend the night here.
