Battambang
Battambang is a charming, quiet town, much less touristy than Siem Reap. It’s located in a rural area, with beautiful surroundings of rice fields and fruit plantations. There are unique attractions like the Batcave, Killing Caves, and the Bamboo Train. Don’t expect a wild nightlife, but there are definitely some nice restaurants and bars to enjoy.

Bat Cave
The Bat Cave in Battambang, also known as Phnom Sampeau Cave. Every evening at sunset, millions of bats fly out of the cave to hunt for food, creating a spectacular sight. There are bars outside, so you can enjoy a beer while watching the bats.
