From Valladolid to Isla Holbox
On day 7, you'll head to Isla Holbox, a charming island on the north coast of the Yucatán Peninsula. First, drive to Chiquila, which takes about 2 hours. From there, hop on a ferry to Holbox, which takes around 30 minutes.
Breakfast at Pak’al
Enjoy one last breakfast in Valladolid before heading to your next destination. We recommend Pak’al, a lovely restaurant offering both Mexican and international dishes. We tried the avocado toast and chilaquiles, and both were delicious! The presentation was impressive too. They also have a cute little garden where you can enjoy your meal.
Check in at Casa del Viento by ÓOL Hotels
Once you arrive on Isla Holbox, we recommend checking in at Casa del Viento by ÓOL Hotels. It’s a charming boutique hotel with beautiful rooms and a lovely pool. We stayed in the Deluxe Room, a spacious, modern room with grey stone, wooden accents, and a gorgeous bathroom. Prices start at € 70 per night.
Dinner at Pinshis Tacos
For dinner, head to Pinshis Tacos. They serve the best tacos on the island! We highly recommend the chicken tacos (so delicious!) and the vegetarian ones with cheese. If you're not in the mood for tacos, their shrimp quesadilla is a great option! We spent around € 20 for two dishes and two drinks every time we visited. And yes, they also serve real “Mexican coke”!
