Explore Barri Gòtic

Barri Gòtic (also known as the Gothic Quarter) is a bustling neighborhood that’s full of charm and history, with also its fair share of beautiful architecture. When strolling around, you will always stumble upon yet another enchanting square or amazing restaurant. The Barcelona Cathedral and El Pont del Bisbe (a lovely Gothic-style bridge) are some of the things that should not be missed during your exploration of the neighborhood! If you see people standing still and looking up in the middle of the street, be sure to do so, too 😉 There’s something to see and experience everywhere!

Visit the MOCO museum

If you’re into modern and contemporary art, make sure to visit the MOCO Museum! There are two floors full of inspiring modern, contemporary, and street art from some great names like Banksy, Haring, Warhol, Dalí and many more. The only downside is that the museum is rather small, but the art out there is definitely worth seeing! You can even find Banksy’s iconic work ‘Girl with Balloon’ here!

Je lunch is minder dan 2 minuten verwijderd, het ligt zelfs in dezelfde straat!

Tapas time at Bar del Pla

Popular among both locals and tourists is Bar del Pla, a surprising tapas bar in El Born. The menu has various traditional tapas of really good quality and a large choice of wines. Each dish was delicious, and eating it in a traditional Spanish bar made it even better! Even though it has become a well-known spot in Barcelona, they haven’t lost their local feel and Spanish (read: cheap) prices.

Een wandeling van 5 minuten brengt je naar je volgende bestemming.

Stroll through Parc de la Ciutadella

Parc de la Ciutadella is an idyllic park where you can just walk around and relax. The park really has a lot to offer, it even has a zoo inside of it! You can also enjoy a picnic here or use a rowing boat on the lake. You really should stroll around the park because you can find dozens of hidden sculptures and statues scattered all over the place!

Dinner at Elsa y Fred

Elsa y Fred serves delicious tapas with a modern twist. The atmosphere is amazing here, and the food is delicious! From classic tapas like patatas bravas to more original tapas like kimchi croquettes, everything is fingerlicking good! This restaurant is the first place we’d come back to when we’re back in Barcelona -it is that good.
