The narrow houses of Damrak, near Central Station, are world famous. It is one of the most beautiful photo spots in Amsterdam! The houses are so narrow because back in the day you were charged taxes based on the size of the building's exterior. The smaller the facade of the house, the cheaper! Across the street of the narrow houses you will find all kinds of stores, souvenir shops, cozy cafes and restaurants,...
Je volgende bestemming is niet echt een 'vaste', maar ga gewoon naar het zuiden langs de Singel. Als je het Koninklijk Paleis aan je linkerkant ziet, ben je op de goede weg.
Stroll through the Amsterdam canals
Amsterdam is known for its canals, so a visit to Amsterdam is not complete without walking along them! You can find canals all over Amsterdam, the most famous are Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht or Herengracht. However, every canal in Amsterdam is unique and has its own charm. We just love a good stroll along the canals! Make sure to have your phone ready to have yourself a “canal photoshoot”!

Visit the floating flower market
Even though you are probably unlikely to buy flowers during your trip, a visit to the floating flower market cannot be missed! You can find all kinds of flowers here, like tulips and geraniums. The vibrant colors and the smell of fresh flowers make it quite an experience to walk around here! It is also possible to bulbs (like from tulips) and plant them at home. All are very reasonably priced (most of them come in package deals), so if planting plants is your thing: this is the place to go!
Je volgende stop brengt je naar de Leidsestraat, hoewel deze keten voor een snelle hap meerdere vestigingen in Amsterdam heeft. De reden dat we je naar de Leidsestraat sturen, is dat het dichter bij de haltes na deze is.
Grab a ‘croquette from the wall’ at FEBO
FEBO is a Dutch fast food chain that offers a wide variety of snacks like croquettes and burgers. The snacks at FEBO are offered in vending machines, hence the concept of ‘croquettes from the wall‘. This is typically Dutch, making a stop at FEBO a must on your visit to Amsterdam! There are countless burgers on the menu, but they do also have ‘standalone snacks’ like ‘frikadel‘, ‘kipcorn‘ and ‘bami schijf‘. The Dutch really do snacks like no-one else!
Je kunt ervoor kiezen om "ter plaatse te dineren" bij FEBO, of je kunt een "wandellunch" naar je volgende bestemming hebben - de keuze is aan jou! 10 minuten tussen de Leidsestraat en je volgende stop is meer dan genoeg tijd om je heerlijke snack(s) op te eten.

If you’re into architecture, make sure to check out the Zevenlandenhuizen. It is a row of seven beautiful houses, each built in a style that represents a European country. You'll find France, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands, among others. The neighborhood is also very beautiful, which makes it well worth a walk around here!
Het is al tijd voor je laatste stop van de dag, dus maak het de moeite waard! Maak een mooie wandeling door de Amsterdamse "Oud West" buurt. Je kunt talloze designerwinkels en koffiebars (voor koffie, niet het andere type) vinden, allemaal in gebouwen uit het begin van de 20e eeuw. Zorg ervoor dat je om je heen kijkt op weg naar je laatste bestemming!

Foodhallen truly is heaven on earth for all food lovers! Also, in the middle you have multiple bars, so if you want your sushi to be accompanied with a glass of rosé wine, fear not :-).
