Honey & Smoke is an upscale dining experience in Ubud where smoky flavors meet creative cuisine in a stylish, speakeasy-inspired setting. We loved it so much that we made sure to return on our last evening in Bali. The interior is stunning, and the atmosphere is perfect for a memorable dining experience.
The restaurant’s unique approach to cooking with charcoal and wood fire is reflected in every dish. Whether you're into vegetables, meat, or fish, there's something to satisfy every taste. Our favorites included the scallops, be sure to order (at least) one for each person in your party! The charred pumpkin with goat cheese, charred prawns, and mortadelle on brioche were standout dishes that we still think about.
Honey & Smoke is also known for its impressive cocktails. If you’re a fan of sweet drinks, the Yuzu on Passion is a must-try. For something truly unique, the Norihana Smoke is an experience in itself. We sampled around ten different cocktails, and each one was fantastic. When they said they go for that speakeasy feel, we didn't know they'd go for that speakeasy quality, too ;-)
