A viewpoint under construction

Originally we went to Croatia after Lake Bled, but since we found it too hot for our taste, we went back to Slovenia without plans. This was not our first stop, but it was the first thing we did that didn't need a reservation. We were looking for views and we found them.

UNESCO caves and this one is worth it

This was plan A for the day, but it was a Saturday and it was fully booked until 4 in the afternoon. So plan ahead! I love going to UNESCO world heritage places because that usually means there is some history and it's beautiful. And these caves DID NOT disappoint. Make sure you stretch out at least 2 hours for this, depending on the walk you decide to do after the caves. What does that mean? - You get a guided tour in the caves. You get an amazing explanation on how things were way back when and how we got to the current situation. You'll be impressed. - After the caves, you have 3 options. Each is a walk/hike around the caves. Every now and then there will be a point where you can read about what has happened in that particular spot or an explanation on how it became what it is now. Each of these walks has a different duration. Bonus: at the end of the day, find camping here: https://park4night.com/en/place/33456 It's a beautiful place, you have to pay cash, but it's quiet and you can shower and load up on electricity.
