Journée de travail en Espagne Jour 1
Une première journée de travail complète, explorant la partie sud-ouest de Lanzarote. Y compris Lago Verde, Montaña Roja et Montaña Bermeja.

Hike Montaña Roja
During my lunch break we went to Montaña Roja. It’s a 5 minute drive from Playa Blanca to the foot of the mountain and from there, you can go up and hike around the crater. Once on top of the mountain, you have stunning views over the ocean and Lanzarote's lava landscape. For us it took about 45 minutes to climb up the mountain, to make the loop around the crater and to get back to our car. However, we walked at a quite fast pace, after all I had to get back to my laptop to finish my first workday here ;)

Black beach, red rocks, green lake
At the end of my working day (Lanzarote time 16:00h) we drove to Lago Verde. And as the name suggests, this is a poison-green lake, located right next to a black sand beach and surrounded by red cliffs. All these contrasting colors coming together make it a fantastic place to visit. Visiting is free, and recommended on a sunny day!

Make a stop at Playa de Montaña Bermeja
We ended up at this place by chance, but it was one of my highlights in Lanzarote. On this beach, you have a super nice view of Montaña Bermeja, with beautiful reflections of the mountain in the small lake located next to/ on the beach. We also saw super skilled surfers in the rough waves, and the sunset from here is amazing. I think the photos speak for themselves!
