Jour V : Erg - Lac Izoughar

Start in Erg
Today the most altimeters will be covered! You hike through the Atlas Mountains to Col Asderm, the highest point, and then descend to the plateau. It promises to be a tiring and long day as you climb to 3,480 meters altitude. The views are more than worth it, though.
Lunch
In the afternoon there will be time for a quick lunch. It is important to save some snacks for this day during your trip, you’ll need them. At this point you have already passed the highest peak, and depending on the weather, you just hiked through the snow!
End at Lac Izoughar
After a fantastic but exhausting hike through the impressive Atlas landscape, you will pitch your tent for the last time in beautiful surroundings. I personally thought this was the most beautiful location. After resting for a while, we went to look for water to refresh ourselves. After a few minutes of walking we found a well, in the middle of nowhere. Washing yourself with ice cold water was never so epic!
