Casa Batlló and Casa Mila are two of Gaudí wonders, both located on Passeig de Gràcia in the city centre. Admire the brilliant colours, wavy architecture and impressive balconies. This bustling market really is a must for foodies, whether you just want something to go or “dine-in”. Be sure to try some local specialties while you're here!

Plaça Reial, Barcelona, Spain

Have a drink at Plaça Reial

Plaça Reial is a cute square less than 2 minutes from La Rambla, full of nice restaurants, beautiful buildings and palm trees! We just love the atmosphere here! With some sangria, a little appetizing snack, and a seat in the sun, this is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some people watching.

Head back onto La Rambla the same way you arrived at Plaça Real. Then, it’s an about 15 minutes walk into the southern direction. If you come across the Columbus Monument, you’re heading the right way.

Stroll through Port Vell

At the end of La Rambla you’ll find the beautiful port of Barcelona. It is really nice to walk around here, you find beautiful buildings and big palm trees everywhere, and even some amazing art can be admired! El Cap de Barcelona is located here, right at the end of the port. It is a sculpture made by the legendary Lichtenstein for the ’92 Olympics in Barcelona. If you want to enjoy some stunning views over the city you can use the cable car that connects the port with the Montjuïc Hill.
