Let yourself be charmed by the water-rich landscape in Mol and Dessel: a unique mix of water, sand, and green. From the banks of the canal lake, you walk towards the quarry and nature reserve Schansheide. From the viewpoint hill, you look out over the sand quarries, the sand processing factory, and the surrounding heath landscape. Information boards tell the story of the long-standing white sand extraction. Still have energy? Then be sure to climb the Sas4 tower. You will be rewarded with a 360° panorama.
