A tour of Lasvit’s headquarters is an absolute must for anyone passionate about architecture and design. The building itself combines raw concrete elements with elegant glass features a striking contrast that immediately catches the eye. Two extremes, industrial and delicate, come together to create a captivating whole. From here, production is coordinated across glass factories throughout the Czech Republic. During the tour, you get a behind-the-scenes look at the spectacular glass creations Lasvit produces for major names worldwide. Think trophies for the Tour de France, Wimbledon Championships, and Roland Garros each a masterpiece. Or consider the impressive chandeliers for Los Angeles Airport and the largest working chandelier ever, composed of two enormous dragons made from countless glass discs, hanging in a casino complex. It’s easy to see why Lasvit has won so many prestigious design awards. A visit that’s truly not to be missed. - this trip was made in collaboration with Mazda Motor Belux.
