Arrival in Porto
Our plane didn't land until the evening, so we didn't have much time to explore on the first day. We chose to cross the Ponte Luís I to Vila Nova de Gaia, to watch the sunset in Jardim do Morro and enjoy dinner next to the Ribeira Gaia, before calling it a night.

Ponte Luís I
Cross Ponte Luís I to Vila Nova de Gaia. You can cross the bridge by either the bottom or top deck. I however recommend crossing the top deck since it gives you the best views over the Douro River.

Watch the sunset at Jardim do Morro
If you crossed Ponte Luís I using the top deck you will have arrived in Jardim do Morro. This is the most beautiful place to watch the sun set in the Douro River.

Ribeira de Gaia
Stroll along Ribeira de Gaia. You will walk next to the Douro Rivier and pass by multiple port houses and restaurants.
