Venice... the city that is as romantic as it's told to be ❤️ Traveled here for the first time and completely fell in love whilst wandering through the small alleys and photographing the canals. Here are my top five tips in the city:
• Book a room at Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace for a complete "royal" experience. The building used to be a palace for one of the most important families in Venice, hosting balls on the first floor. Bridgerton-feeling: check. Located very close to the city center, it's the perfect place to discover the city from.
• Reserve a lunch table at Cip's Club, in the Belmond Cipriani hotel. Iconic! Enjoy a homemade pasta and fresh Bellini (did you know that this aperitif drink was invented in Venice?) with a first row view on Venice.
• Watch the sunset at Ponte dell'Accademia. Simply stunning once the lights are one 🙏🏼
• Have dinner on the cozy terrace of Sant'Angelo. Serving traditional Venetian dishes whilst located on one of the coziest squares of Venice, this is the perfect setting for a date night.
• My final tip is... get lost in the alleys! I woke up every day right before sunrise to go and see Venice waking up. You can take hours looking for the most beautiful streets, yet you can find them all around.
All pictures during this trip were taken with the Fujifilm X-T50, with a 16-50mm lens. This camera was launched just in 2024, and has a close resemblance to a classic film camera. Check out the link attached for more info!
