An authentically styled 19th century tram service.
The tram is stationed at Three Monkeys, near the Victoria Falls Railway Station.
You can choose between a mid-morning bridge run or sunrise bridge run.
This tram takes off at 6:00am or 8:30 from where the tram is stationed. The tram passes through the national park near the Falls, making a wide sweep through the African bush, and there is a chance to see some of the wildlife such as elephant, buffalo, waterbuck or bushbuck.
The tram continues towards the border, and goes on past the border post and on to the Victoria Falls Bridge. The bridge, spans the Batoka Gorge in between Zimbabwe and Zambia. You may disembark the tram and take in the impressive scenery of the Victoria Falls, the gorge and the Zambezi River down below. Watch the adrenalin junkies take a leap off the bridge into the gorge via bridge swing or bungee, or zip across the gorge on the bridge slide.
From the bridge, there is easy access to the rail and bridge museum, and the trip includes and informative talk on the area's history, the railway & the bridge. Light refreshments are served on the bridge itself. After the experience, the tram will take you back to Three Monkeys. The total time for this trip is 1.5 hours.
