I spent a few nights at Pestana Quinta do Arco, located in the green hills of northern Madeira. It feels far away from everything, in the best possible way. The hotel is surrounded by a huge rose garden and has two swimming pools, one framed by the mountains, the other by lush greenery. Either way, it’s a place to completely unwind. Our room was simple but charming, with a small terrace. It’s perfect for people who enjoy quiet mornings, fresh air, and being close to nature.
