Saruni Samburu is one of those places that sticks in your memory forever, once you've visited. This intimate safari lodge is located on a hill overlooking Samburu National Park, which makes your mouth drop as soon as you walk in. With only six rooms (or you could say, villa-like tents) you can be sure of a very personalized stay. Every corner is beautiful - my favorite being the massage room with hundreds of birds flying by. Love how they offer each room a complimentary 30' back massage. Right after check-in, a local guide talks you through the possibilities of exploring the Samburu NP surroundings. Based on your preferences, he'll create a scheme that makes sure you see everything you came here for. For us that was an early morning game drive, a bush breakfast, a sundowner experience and a walking safari. Need I say more? A dream! - this trip was made possible in partnership with Brussels Airlines, that offers direct flights from Brussels to Nairobi.
