Visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge for sunrise
The Nine Arch Bridge is iconic in Ella and one the most famous attractions in Sri Lanka. This impressive bridge is 25 meters high and 90 meters long and is surrounded by lush jungle and dense green tea fields. Nine Arch Bridge is located just outside Ella Town and on the same route as Little Adam’s Peak. Visit the Nine Arch Bridge for sunrise, not only are there fewer (or even none) people but there are also two trains passing – at 6:15 and 6:40. In the early mornings there are low hanging clouds covering the valley, giving the whole area a moody, mystical feel.
