Lovely holiday home for a relaxing stay in Carmoes, in the region of Lisboa. We had a warm welcome from the owners Liliane and Hugo. The house, located between the vineyards has two small studio's with a bedroom and on suite bathrooms. In de main house you have a spacious kitchen, dining room and living room. Upstairs there are 2 more bedrooms and a bathroom. It's a typically rural Portuguese house with a minimalistic, yet attractive interior. The house has a great outdoor space, with a lovely pool and a beautifully landscaped garden. The house is located near Carmoes, in the wine region of Lisboa. It's about a 50km drive from the airport of Lisbon and it's a good base to explore the central region of Portugal. Even a day trip to Lisbon is possible. It's also perfect to visit some coastal village like Peniche, Ericeira and Nazaré.
