Okay, we are suckers for cute dogs (actually for all animals). But if you are on Holbox, visiting the Refugio Animal Sanctuary is a heartwarming experience. They are dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned and distressed animals, such as dogs, cats and more. They are welcoming visitors to help around, play with the animals and you can even go for a walk with the dogs on the beach. It's a lovely experience, not only for you but most important for the animals.
