Camping at Halls Gap Lakeside Tourist Park was a delightful surprise from the moment we arrived. A warm welcome awaited us from the incredibly friendly staff, one of whom hailed from the Netherlands, adding an international touch to our experience. The excitement peaked when we discovered our campervan was stationed right next to an open field where dozens of kangaroos cale together. My jaw dropped every time I opened our van’s door: so mant kangaroos and so close as well! The backdrop looked surreal as well.
Beyond the kangaroo encounters, the park itself impressed as well being perfectly maintained, having the perfect location and lots of things to do! You can even go glamping here. The decision to extend our stay was an easy one, the absolute paradise for road trippers if you ask me!
