Magical Halong Bay overnight cruise

Our first cruise experience surpassed all expectations, it was everything we wished for and more! Set against the backdrop of Halong Bay's stunning limestone formations, our cruise ship and room were simply breathtaking. Our spacious accommodation boasted a private balcony offering magnificent views, but the highlight was undoubtedly the bathroom with its large bathtub overlooking the water – perfect for romantic baths and moments of peace. As the sun began to set, we made our way to the deck to unwind in the ship's jacuzzi, cocktails in hand of course ;-) Surreal doesn't even begin to describe the whole experience! Watching the sun set behind the bay's limestone formations whilst we were chilling in the pool. During our stay, they arranged a lot of activities too. From swimming and kayaking to squid fishing, there was never a dull moment. The showcooking class before dinner was fun too, something we’d never done before. Speaking of dinner, it was an unforgettable affair. A 5-course feast with delicacies like pumpkin soup, different prawn dishes, and grilled sea bass with passion fruit sauce left us utterly satisfied. The way the kitchen and staff handled the whole thing was sublime, too. We really felt like royalty! Lastly, we should mention how nice it was that we visited the lesser-known Lan Ha Bay. Lan Ha bay is way more peaceful than the busier Halong Bay, this made the whole experience even more magical.
