Tulum is often known for being overcrowded and overly touristy, but our 2-night stay at Wakax Hacienda completely changed that perspective. This stunning 5-star hotel, located just a 10-minute drive from Tulum's center, is a true jungle paradise. And we really mean paradise! And jungle as well. With an on-site restaurant, a private cenote, three pools, and multiple lakes, you’ll never run out of things to do. If that’s not enough, there’s also a gym, yoga classes, and exciting activities like bicycle tours and underground river experiences. We stayed in the junior suite with a terrace, and it was an unforgettable, luxurious experience. The room’s minimalistic design, featuring soft beige and white tones with wooden accents, was simply elegant. We also enjoyed a spacious bathroom and a beautiful terrace, just a few steps away from one of the pools. Couldn’t have asked for a better room! Breakfast was included, and it was a real treat. Each morning, we were served fresh fruit, juice, coffee or tea, with the option to choose a main dish like eggs, waffles, or chilaquiles. The setting made it even more special: eating in the heart of the jungle with the sound of a nearby waterfall was the perfect way to start the day! What truly set our experience at Wakax Hacienda apart was the exceptional personal service.
