You don't have to travel far to experience a dreamy weekend and return totally refreshed. At least that's my experience after staying at Loof cabin in Hoeselt, a small foresty town in Belgium, just a 1,5h drive from where I live.
From the moment of arrival, I immediately felt my busy mind quiet. It was already dark, but a string of fairy lights led us up the staircases to the unique wooden cabin. Inside, a thoughtfully designed interior that reminded me of Japan. A bedroom, living area with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, cosy dining area, modern bathroom and even a separate reading nook with a full-length window to watch the world go by.
Speaking of windows, the entire dining and lounge area have floor to ceiling windows which offer a view over the forest, which in our case was alight with autumn colours (September).
Truly the ideal setting to slow down - and with lots of hikes in the area if you want to explore.
