Frias, located in the province of Burgos, in the Las Merindades region, is the smallest and one of the top 3 most beautiful towns in Spain. The eye-catcher of this city? A castle built on a rock flank that towers magnificently above the town.
During our road trip we arrived in this town in the evening. Ideal for an evening walk through these picturesque streets and a terrace on the square. We stayed in hotel Frías which is located in the center, highly recommended! No cars are allowed, but just before you enter the city there is a large parking lot.
