🌞 A week in the Algarve with our family With our three-year-old, we spent a week in the sunny Algarve, in the south of Portugal. We were looking for a mix of nature, relaxation, and child-friendly spots – and we found plenty. Thanks to easy booking through Sunweb. Their travel package includes a round-trip flight, a rental car (highly recommended in the region!) and a hotel, tailored to the travel group. Temperatures ranged between 22 and 28 degrees, ideal for outings without it being too hot. We traveled at the end of September, a period we definitely recommend: it's still fully summer, but without the big crowds. According to the locals, the tourism season now extends until the end of October, so even later in the year, it's still nice to stay there. From rugged coasts and expansive beaches to small villages and cozy eateries with local dishes: every day brought something new.
